Police discover body in street in Highland Springs

HENRICO COUNTY, Va -- An investigation is underway after police discovered a body in Highland Springs in eastern Henrico County on Saturday.

Police responded to a call for a shooting on East Jerald Street just  before 11 a.m.

When officers arrived, they found a man's body in the street.

Police believe the incident is domestic-related and that the wound may have been self-inflicted.

Detectives talked to witnesses at the scene, officials said.

No one else was injured and detectives are not looking for anyone in connection to the shooting, according to police.
